Matches:

3 Games will be  21 point rally point timed games.  If the timer buzzer goes off before the 3rd game is complete, the team with the most points will be the winner.  If it is a tied score then one more point will be played.

There will be a Cap of 23 points for the each game.

You may come early to warm up on the side lines.

You will get a 5 minute warm-up starting a 7:00, & 8:00.

Rules are the same as USVA:

1.  Double contact is permitted during the team’s first contact.  The ball can not be carried.

2.  Pursuit is allowed. You may step into other court as long as you don’t interfere with that match.

3.  We do not play with the ghost rule.

4.  Each team must have a minimum of 4 players at the start of the match with at least 1 person from the original roster.

 5.  Each game is self ref.  Be honest. Be fair.  Captains should makes calls on hands, doubles, and carries.

Ties for playoffs:

Ties will be determined by points head to head record, head to head point differential, 11 point playoff  .

Subs: 

1.  Subs can be taken from the teams that have a bye or of your own choice.

2.   The subs must be for the same skill level or below.

 3.  If a sub is required for the Finals they are required to play a minimum of 2 matches in the league or approved by Anne-Marie.  

4.  Men can sub in the woman league.  Their play is restricted to: setting and hitting 10's. 

CO-ED ONLY Rules are the same as USVA

1.  A guy must touch the ball if more than one .  Example: One girl passes and one girl hits it over. That is illegal.

2. Guys may hit 10’ balls, but their feet can not touch the 10’ lines.

3. Gentlemen’s rule for the lower level coed only:  High level men can’t hit at C- woman.  Captain will be informed which players this rule applies to.

4. A male player can not send the ball over the net if he contacts it above the height of the net.

5. If there is only one woman in the front row hitting one of the woman from the back may switch with a guy to be a blocker only.  No tipping or hitting is allowed by this female player or it  will be considered a back row attack.

Facility Rules For CCRI:

There is to be ABSOLUTELY NO CLIMBING THE BLEACHERS.

There is no parking in the side parking lot incase of Motorcycle instruction class.
